Woke up with body aches all over and could barely walk or get out of bed by myself T- T but the headache was gone from spamming water overnight!
We planned to do flying fox or kayaking at first, but changed to visiting a mini zoo instead cause my body was aching like crazy lol and the thought of doing anything physical was impossible since even walking hurt like crazy for me lol.

The guide marzuki brought us to the mini zoo at nirwana resorts cus the one at de bintan was still under construction. 😥 de bintan charged us $20 each for it though when it’s an open area and is possibly free for guests of nirwana…I don’t think the entrance fee into nirwana is that pricey!

We saw crocodiles, peacock, parrot, eagles, rabbits, super humongous fish that looked like it was from the age of dinosaurs… Also saw a python and a live frog in that glass cage D’: so sad…I wonder how it feels to be trapped and know you’re gonna die soon with nowhere to escape. 😦 is that how criminals convicted of death feel? Also remember reading this article of a rat in the snake cage who tried to save its other rat comrade from being eaten by the snake. And the staff released that rat for being heroic lol.

Initially wanted to cab home but somehow decided just taking bus back is pretty okay and convenient. Felt so attached to mitch since we spent 3 days together without much contact with the rest of the world :’) leaving him was so hard lol but I mean…we managed to spend 5 months apart so what is just a few hours/days?

A few days later Mitch told me about how the amount of stuff we managed to do in those 3 days at bintan was equivalent to a week’s worth of an average person…and he said it’s as if we extended our lives by several days. I think that’s a pretty interesting thought. That our lives are remembered and fulfilled by the things we do…and sometimes doing nothing is akin to not living at all. “These are the nights that never die.” #quotingaviciilike
Here’s to more days and nights that never die ^_ ^
