Langkawi (Day 6 of 6): Restoran Nasi Kandar Tomato, La Chocolatine,Ā The Brasserie at Laguna

It was a day of food as we wanted to chill before taking our night flight back to Singapore. We had brunch at Restoran Nasi Kandar Tomato. Their speciality was their tomato rice. It was quite interesting and I found it appetizing to eat! You could choose the dishes you wanted with your rice and make payment after. The price was affordable.

We also visited a batik museum as we wanted to do batik art, but they told us that the staff who helps to process the art was not around that day. It was so unexpected. šŸ˜¦ was really looking forward to that.

We headed to La Chocolatine for tea break after browsing through the batik clothing. We found two of the staff (who spoke French and were probably the owners) a little rude in terms of curtly slamming our dishes on the table and continuously speaking to us in French despite us obviously not being able to understand. I’m pretty sure he would have a basic knowledge of English or malay to be able to set up a cafe here in langkawi.

Our last meal was at The Brasserie which i think was located within a condominium. I had the pan fried fish which was quite delicious. I loved the vegetables and mashed potato too. It was one of the best meals I’ve had at langkawi and I’d return here again!
